Pivot and Girls on the Run
In our Pivot Group Mission and Vision Planning Meeting in January, our team talked about being more intentional about our desire to make an impact in the world as a company. One of the organizations that we indicated a desire to help was a non-profit organization called Girls on the Run. We’re excited to announce that this month we will be donating a percentage of revenue from new Pivot projects to Girls on the Run.
Revenue from new projects includes:
- Revenue from a company that selects us to do a website.
- Revenue from a new marketing client we land in February.
- Revenue from a new research project.
- In addition, we are going to give a percentage of all Pick-It March Mania sign-ups, even for companies that have done it in the past.
According to their mission statement, Girls on the Run® is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. The group meets with small teams of 8-15 school-age girls through the country a couple times a week to teach life skills through dynamic, conversation-based lessons and running games. More than a running club or track team, Girls on the Run coaches focus on teaching three aspects: understanding ourselves, valuing relationships and teamwork and understanding how we connect with and shape the world at large.
We’re excited to see how much we can donate to Girls on the Run at the end of February – let us know if you’d like to be a part of our efforts!
